How often do you take medication for headaches?A case study of a fifty five year old man with a panic disorder who was taking multiple medications. He was intaking the following medications; alprazolam (2 mg/day), lorazepam (6 mg/day), diazepam 15 mg/day), propranolol (120 mg/day) and dothiepin (200 mg/day), in 2-3 divided doses, alone or in various combinations, the prescriptions in each instance being increased to the maximum tolerated dose. As the businessman was only continued taking prescription of 150 mg of dothiepin in a single nighttime dosage. The doctor suggested he take a Transcendal Meditation to sessions. After a week of the Transcendal Meditation sessions a report found a near-total relief from both panic and agoraphobia. TM is a form of meditation that enhance psychological dysfunction, a doctor suggest to reduce the intake of certain medication and stop taking the other medications. ``TM is a non-pharmacological therapy it is non invasive. The case study show that the medication didn't work and the evaluation of the medication did not help the panic attacks. With the improvement of panic attacks after six months of Transcendental meditation and tapering off the drugs, the case study is drug free. The symptoms of the panic attacks subsided due to meditation.
